If You Could Go Anywhere, Where Would You Go?

Where would I go, if I had a free ticket to anywhere?

Well, it's hard to answer that question.

There are many places I've been,
and many others that I want to go.
There's my home, California
the Golden Gate, San Francisco.

Then there's foreign cities
That I'd like to see again.
Paris, Bangkok
I wish those trips had no end.

  1. I really like this poem, Ruby. I want to go to Paris too, as well as Greece and Rome. I also want to go to California. I really like your last line, "I wish those trips had no end." I feel the same way when I go on road trips.

  3. I really like this poem. I you did an amazing job at putting feeling into this.
I defiantly agree with you that there are many places to visit. I really liked your last line in your poem. It gave the poem your own touch and I really like that part of your poem.

  4. I really like this one because it is written very well and it's descriptive. It speaks freely from the heart with no barrier, wanting to see home again is both a happy thought and a powerful one. The last line was my personal favorite, it wraps up the entire poem in a nice bow and ends it on an almost bittersweet tone. Overall I thought this poem was beautifully written and very heart-warming; it brought a smile to my face when I read it. Continue to write from the heart Ruby, your writing is creative, magical, and unique.
